In this guide:
To schedule a meeting
- Logged in to Google with your oprfhs.org account, go to https://calendar.google.com/
- Double click on the date and time you wish to schedule your meeting
- Add a meeting title, and then pick the appropriate start and end time.
- Select a date range of Wednesday, October 7th to Thursday, October 8th.
- Check the "All day" event checkbox
- Click the "Add Google Meet video conferencing" button.
- Now click the button to expand the Google Meet details
- Right-click and copy the Meeting ID URL. Use this link to update your PowerPTC Meeting URL.
- Click the "Save" button to create the event.
To copy link to PowerPTC
- Logged in to Google with your oprfhs.org account, go to https://calendar.google.com
- Click once on the appointment for the meeting you scheduled in the previous steps
- Hover over the “Join with Google Meet” option and the “Copy conference link” icon will appear to the right
- Click on the “Copy conference link” icon
- Log in to PowerPTC
- Click on the “Conference Schedule” option
- Click on the “Meeting Type” option in the left column
- Paste the link into the URL into the space provided on the right
- Click update
To run a meeting:
- Logged in to Google with your oprfhs.org account, go to https://calendar.google.com
- Click once on the appointment for the meeting you scheduled in the previous steps
- Click on “Join with Google Meet”
This will allow you to run the Meet session. Refer all parents to PowerPTC for the most up to date version of their meeting links and schedule.
