If you are using a school-provided laptop it is important that you follow the reset instructions below to the best of your ability.
- It is imperative that you are connected to Global Protect (GP). Click on the globe in your task try to see if you are connected. You should see the window below.
*If you do not have GP installed, then you will have to come onsite to reset your password.
- After you have confirmed GP is connected, press CTRL+ALT+DEL simultaneously to open up a menu. You will click Change a password on this screen.
- On the proceeding screen, you will enter your current and new password.
*It is recommended that you use a passphrase instead of a "password." The passphrase (I enj0y sush! rolls) is actually more secure than the password (S3cUr3!!).
- It is recommended that you refresh your GP connection after the reset by clicking in the upper right.
You may then update your password everywhere it is used. This would include OPRFX wireless credentials, Skyward app on your phone, email on your phone, and Google account in phone and apps. You will also need to re-open Outlook to refresh your mail connection.
