If you are using a school-provided laptop it is important that you follow the reset instructions below to the best of your ability.
- It is necessary that you are connected via VPN (Global Protect or FortiClient).
*If you do not have a VPN client installed, then you will have to come onsite to reset your password. - After you have confirmed GP is connected, press CTRL+ALT+DEL simultaneously to open up a menu. You will click Change a password on this screen.
- On the proceeding screen, you will enter your current and new password.
*It is recommended that you use a passphrase instead of a "password." The passphrase (I enj0y sush! rolls) is actually more secure than the password (S3cUr3!!). - It is recommended that you refresh your VPN connection after changing your password.
You may then update your password everywhere it is used. This would include OPRFX wireless credentials, Skyward app on your phone, email on your phone, and Google account in phone and apps. You will also need to re-open Outlook to refresh your mail connection.
