The VPN client (FortiClient) is intended to allow you to access network files while outside the building.
Please follow the instructions below to migrate to our new VPN client. These instructions must be followed while outside the network. They will not work while in the building.
Connecting the Client
If you followed the process above, the new VPN client and the associated profile for it should now be installed. Whenever you want to connect to the VPN you will need to follow the steps below. *You cannot use Global Protect and FortiClient VPN at the same time.
You can either access the VPN menu by clicking on your wireless icon in the task tray, or by typing VPN into the start menu.
- Once in the VPN settings menu, click on the OPRFHS VPN profile to select it.
- Once the profile is selected, you can click Connect to start the VPN connection.
- You will be prompted with a login. Use only your username. Do not enter your full email.
- You will see connected if everything is working properly. You will likely get an error if trying to connect while on the internal network.
You should now be connected to our network. If you receive any errors, or have any issues, please email a screenshot to the helpdesk.
